WHO am I
My name is Katsuki Iio. Katsuki (華月 in Japanese), means "gorgeous moon". I am 19 years old, and from Japan. I was in Osaka University for one semester before I came here, and my major was Swedish language. My hobby is kendo (Japanese swordsmanship). It is a kind of Japanese traditional sport with swords. I started it when I was in the first grade of junior high, and I've practiced it for 6 years.
WHAT is my major
I'm majoring in liberal arts in DCCC because I don't what I want to do in the future. But I'm interested in international relations, politics, education, and religions, so that I will major in one or two of them after transferring to another college or university.
WHEN will I transfer/graduate
For now, I'm going to transfer from here after the spring semester in 2018, but if I have a chance, I might leave here earlier.
WHERE do I live
I live in Broomall, PA with my host family. I have host mother, host father, host brother, three dogs, a cat, and a rabbit in my host family.
WHY did I come to the United States
When I was in elementary school, I started studying English, and as I learn it, I got interested in the cultures of other countries. Then I decided to study abroad. When I was in high school, I came to want to study in the US as there are wide variety of kinds of people (race, religion, and so on) and I can major in liberal arts and don't have to decide what to study for two years. My goal here for now is to learn other views toward a lot of kinds of things including political matter, philosophical issues, and find what to do in the future.
